Well lets hope there is not a grammar test. And maybe try sobering up before asking any questions.

This depends on a great, great many things. First and foremost, location. Dealing in Vegas will net you WAY less money than dealing around Seattle, for example.
Next big variable, what are you dealing? Craps, table games, roulette, poker, etc. All of these people make different amounts of money.
Another big thing is whether you're keeping your own tips or working for a house that pools tips. On that note, what house you work at will have a varying clientele, which could be a huge difference as well.
Next (and this is possibly the biggest one) is how much you put into it. Mostly this applies when keeping your own tips, but if you just stand there silently flipping cards, you won't make a ton, but if you get involved, talk to every player, make people smile, make people laugh, they will WANT to tip you, and you'll ultimately make more. Even at a shared toke place you'll raise the hourly wage.
When I say varies wildly, I mean it too. I know dealers at some houses that make about $50-100/night in tips along with minimum wage, so about $12-16/hr or so depending. I know a good shared toke house where dealers average $20-25/hr after min. wage. Yet I know dealers at a couple keep your own tips places that crack $80,000/yr.
What I can tell you is that as a dealer, you probably will only start on call, and if you want to make it, you need to take anything you can possibly get, and be a damn good dealer.
If you want to email me specifics I can help you further, but the question you posed, to someone in the business, is about as vague as asking a doctor "If I have a virus is it serious?" heh.
Best wishes!

I myself deal poker in Las Vegas and i can tell you that it is worth it to deal for a living. Just go to a credited dealer school and learn to deal a smooth and clean game. Then you go to different poker rooms to audition for the shift managers, you will get to deal a couple of hands and based on how good you deal the game then you may get the job. It is also who you know in Vegas. I just went to as many casinos as i could, just to play cards and get my face seen, then i would go for an audition. I have many friends that just freelance for a living, just dealing WPT,wsop, and other major and minor poker tournaments. But if you haven't dealt before you will have to start at a breaking house, this is a casino that hires new dealers, Most of the major casinos will not hire you unless you have some experience. You can start off making minimum wage and around 175-400 bucks a night in tips, it all depends on the casino you deal and how many hands you get out an hour, You also get paid for your tournament downs as well as getting heath and vacation pay, so it's a good deal. I have worked for many casinos and the most i made was at harrahs and the Rio. I pulled down 275-400 a night, and if you are female you can make even more. Just dealing the w.s.o.p can make top dealers 12k for just a couple weeks of work. good luck.

Dealers make about 3 dollars an hour base plus tips. Most casinos allow poker dealers to keep their own tips, which means the faster dealers make more money. At Foxwoods Casino in connecticut, the poker dealers pool their tips, so tips are often low.
A good poker dealer can deal 25-30 hands per hour, and expect about $1 tip each hand ... so not too bad
Blackjack, craps, and bacarat dealers usually pool their tips.

The tips you are going to receive depend if you deal a tournament (can be poor on tip, for first step dealer) or you can deal some rings games tables. The tip will depend on the type of limits you deal at the table. You won't make the same if you deal the $1/2 and the $10/20. The other thing is, the faster you are, more hand are going to be played, so more rake for the house and more tips for the dealer.
Take care, and who knows, I might tip you one day...
