I wouldn't freeze it myself. I would go out and buy the smallest size of sour cream if I plan on eating alone since nobody else is eating it and the sour cream could go bad really fast, and it will be even nastier from the freezer.

The butter fat, milk solids and water will seperate when freezing. I would not suggest it.

That would be a very bad idea. It would change to texture to a lumpy, gritty mess, don't do it.

still taste ok

yes, you can cause will keep it fresh like other freezen foods meats and vegetables.
