I'm starting to get into racing, but I don't have a real racing ski. It wasn't made for racing (Blizzard IQon 7200 if you are actually familiar with the ski). But I can definitely race in it. What sets it apart from the real racing skis? Will I really benefit from having a true racer? Or is it not worth changing skis, as this one is relatively new?

If you are just starting, then go with what you have. The "racing skis" will be stiffer in different spots and less forgiving. If you can crack the top 20 out of 100 in a race on what you have, then real race skis may give you the edge to make podium once you learn how to handle them!

If you can't make the top 20, then it probably won't matter what skis you have.

Racing is tough, you will need to train a lot, and you only get 2 runs to prove yourself.

well racing skis are deffinetly better for you if youre racing! racing skis have a better flex and edges. also they are made from different materials and are easier to turn with. you also have way more control and they all around work better. maybe you could borrow somebody elses race skis to see if you like them better. so next year or whatever i think you should deffinetly get race skis! theyre not to expensive if you get them off ebay or a ski store. but it you get new race skis wait untill summer because they'll all be on sale!

Gloves are more advantageous powerful because they grant you with a lot more advantageous powerful dexterity. even if, mittens are a lot hotter. it will be magnificent to placed on gloves even as you're racing ans mittens even as you're status round waiting.
