You know what, Kelly...you are probably not going to like this, because I know I sound "preachy" and like some kind of know-it-all jerk, but here it is. After being a medic 25 years, I believe that the worst drug on this earth is alcohol. It causes more damage to society than anyone wants to recognize( it seems to me.) Kelly, I'm going to tell you some God-awful truths, and I will take on all those who wish to dispute my statements. Let's talk about "drugs and alcohol" for a minute. First of all, one is accustomed to hearing just that.. "drugs and alcohol", as though they were two different things. ALCOHOL IS A DRUG..IT IS A POISON. 1). Speedy drugs...Meth, Cocaine, drugs "cut" with speed: If they don't kill you outright via a heart problem or stroke or some cardiovascular type event, they are going to drive you "nuts". You will become a dangerously paranoid person. You will look and feel and be " 3 times older than you are". I have seen young ladies hit the street with a speed drug type problem, and in a few short years {if they make it that far without being murdered} look like a sea-hag. Tragic. Thier minds wasted. 2). Opiates...Heroin, etc. One of the few drugs where the buyer occasionally gets "better than he asked for", that is too say stronger. If you wish to do a drug that steals all your dignity and then your life, Heroin is the stuff.
It is not uncommon in a city environment for a "good" batch of Heroin to hit the street...the users do their "normal" amount, and the Ambulance radios light up for the rest of the day with Heroin overdose after overdose. By the way, Kelly, when you are a Heroin addict, and your "best" friend is overdosed, you will call the Ambulance for him...after you ripped off anything you could find on him. Now lets talk about alcohol. Here is something that no speed or opiate addict will do. 1). Lie in the gutter all day, urinating and deficating on yourself always. 2), Lie in a flop house room on the same mattress you have been urinating and deficating on for months, until the point that your skin is now stuck to those surfaces, maggots eating your wounds and skin (actually helping to keep you alive!}. You have pneumonia, Hep B and C, seizures. Your neuro system is
injured to the point that you cannot think or move normally.
You fall or get injured nearly every day...from being drunk or falling after a seizure. People assault you. The only decent place you ever go is an Emergency Room, for an endless barrage of stitches and other treatments. Finally, in an act of cosmic mercy you die. Kelly, all I've mentioned here are the Street-Type alcoholics. What about all the other drinkers, the drunk-drivers, the destroyed families and futures? I will leave you with this Kelly. I absolutely believe that nearly 40% of all the ambulance runs I ever did were associated directly or indirectly with alcohol. Kelly, your body is trying to warn you. You already "cannot remember" events in your life. Who and what might have done something to you during that "unconscious" time?
Kelly : STOP DRINKING! DO NOT LET YOUR FRIENDS TELL YOU OTHERWISE! YOU ARE HEADED FOR TROUBLE! PLEASE!

16 and already getting drunk often? Sounds like you have a drinking problem already. You would be wise to leave the alcohol alone or get help now while you are still young.

no hunny, not all 16 yr olds do that. Dont let anyone tell you its normal bc its not. Its ok to not want to drink. If you dont like doing it, don't do it. Not to mention its illegal and binge drinking like that is massively unhealthy. Think of how mad your parents would be if you were in the hospital getting your stomach pumped bc you have alcohol poisoning.

What the hell are you doing drinking regularly so young?. Its irresponsible and a stupid thing to do. You can screw up your LIver amongst other things even die from alcoho poisoning. Wise up an if you can't stop get counselling.

eating dehydrates you. once you're dehydrated, your muscle groups will knot up, as they many times carry water. it's going to help in case you chug a ton of water or gatorade or something, yet no longer something will make it bypass away.
