i sort of like of this guy whos about year or maybe a year and half younger than me, and hes chill, but ive heard hes not so smart..... hes not stupid, but hes sometimes not so bright.....would you date someone that is like that?

I think you should find out for yourself and not go by what you hear...what's important is that you guys share the same thoughts and ideas, and depends on what you look for in a guy. Sometimes what others consider "stupid" might be a great conversation topic with you. So go judge for yourself! I personally want a guy that I can talk with about many different subjects and I do want a smart guy....but I'll always judge that myself and not judge by what others say.

Liking or loving someone does not base on their intelligence(some do prefer smart person). Look at the bright side, he's chill!

Girl, uh uh! Keep it moving. Not so bright=stupid. And then on top of that, he's younger. So he's stupid AND immature. He might be cute, but trust me- he's gonna annoy you eventually when you have to tell him how to spell everything. Don't date him, but you could maybe use him as your boy toy or as a back up when you need some 911 sex .

Smart you say! I dated a girl like that, and it turned out I was the idiot. She had an impact at parties and get together. I seem to just not have the subjects she was interested in speaking about.

If you like him date him. Get to know him. Just because someone says he's not smart doesn't mean he's not smart. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. Give the guy a chance.

I think that maybe after a while you might get bored. You may want to have an intellectual conversation and it might be challenging for him to keep up or even be interested. Although most people who are not book smart are terrible fun!

If he is nice, and kind, treats you well, of course i would. I hope I'm not the kind of shallow person that just looks at a person because he is smart or not. Or good-looking, it's what is on the inside that really counts when you come right down to it.

No. I wouldnt date someone like YOU.You said you "heard" he wasnt too bright.He likes you doesnt he?Does that make him not too bright?.Dont you have a brain?Get to know him yourself THEN form an opinion of him, because if the other peoples views are different from what yours will be after getting to know him for yourself, then you may miss out maybe the best thing in your life.

I couldnt personally. I am bery intelligent and like someone to challenge my intelligence. If i had someone that was dumb or "not on my level" then that couldn't happen. Plus i wuld always belittle that person because in the back of my mind i would always be thinking "he is so dumb." So no, i wouldnt. U shoulnt either.
