I accidently deleted my recycle bin unstead of emptying it...?

Question

How do I recover it . My system is HP and I am running Vista on it. I previously have clicked on it and almost deleted before but this time I actually did. When I would click on it before it would say something to the effect that "if deleted it could be recover at...?" I don't remember this part I thought it said the control panel but I don't find anything there useful..................HELP

I finally found it but it wasn't anywhere any of you said keep trying for the 10 points. I already tried most of the sugestion everyone gave but thank to all who tried to help

I've got Vista and I'll do my best to walk you through it (I too think you just deleted it from your desktop).

Click on the Vista logo (bottom right hand corner).
Click on Computer (half way up on the right hand side)
Now, if you see the Recycle bin on the bottom left hand side - yippee you are almost done. Go to "Once you found it below"
If not, we gotta search for it.

Searching:
I'm going to assume you haven't searched before...
Click on Help and select View Help.
Type in Find Folder in the bar at the top and then select Find a File or Folder.
Click the second option (to find a file or folder using the search folder).
About 2/3 of the way down it says click here to open search.
Now a white band appears. Underneath the white band is the Advanced tab - click on it.
Choose the one that the C: in it (you don't need to search in D:
Type in the name field: $Recycle.bin
Hit the search button.

Once you found it:
Right click on the one that says File (not file folder)
Select Send To and select desktop.
Deep breath - you did it!

I don't know why would Bill Gates create Vista if your allowed to delete the recycle bin. I have XP but maybe you could go to Search at the Start button and write Recyle Bin.

Method #1:
Right-click an empty area of your desktop
Select Properties
Click the Desktop tab
Click the Customize button
Click Restore Default
Exit all windows and restart your computer.

Method #2:
Note: Be sure to make a backup copy of your registry prior to making any changes.

Go to Start>> Run. Type in: regedit [Enter]
Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
Hold the mouse on NameSpace and right-click once.

From the resulting menu, select Edit>> New>> Key
Copy and Paste the following Key code (including the brackets): {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

Press Enter on your keyboard, exit the registry editor and restart your system.

You probably only deleted the icon from your desktop. The Recycle bin is still there somewhere. Click on start, go to programs and look for the recycle bin. Alternately, right click on start, go to explore and look for the recycle bin.

How did you delete it? XP won't let you delete it at all. Not by right-clicking, not by the delete key.

Maybe in command prompt, but not by what you are talking about.
