There's no such thing as brass pellet shotgun ammo. Perhaps you're thinking of copper?
Remington Premier, 1 1/2oz of #4 or 6. 2 3/4" shells, go for the #4. 3", go for the #6.

The "BEST".... you need to pattern different loads in your gun to find the answer to that, each gun and choke combo can be different so you will have to try different loads to find the best for your gun.
That said, I get good results from winchester number 4 in a 3 inch 12ga. remington 870 using a hastings turkey choke. Took a gobbler down at 42 lasered yards last spring. used a box call to bring him in hot and fast.

Depends on what type of gun, gauge. I shoot a Mossberg 835 and the best shot I have found for it is #5. However my father uses #4 because they patteren better in his Rem. You will have to shoot several shells of different brands and size to fine the one that your gun shoots best. Good luck and happy hunting!!!
