i do no longer drink beer, yet i've got heard it supposedly selections up the tin style from the can after awhile, quite in case you drink it suitable from the can. yet once you purchase the beer in cans and then drink it interior a short volume of time or drink it out of a cup as a replace, it is going to be effective and wouldn't have time to %. up the "tin style". you're able to no longer enable beer sit down longer than 2 months besides, so as long as you drink it suitable away, it is going to no longer remember. you're able to try it although and spot if it is merely a rumor. purchase a case or 6-%. of beer in bottles and 6-%. of an identical form in cans. Then pour the two into cups, close/conceal your eyes and characteristic somebody swap the cups around so which you do no longer understand that's which, then style-try the two one in each and every of them. See if it rather tastes all that plenty distinctive. If it does not, then you will sense greater effective approximately procuring imported canned beer, if it does style worse, then do no longer problem approximately purchase imported beers and shop on with the bottles you many times purchase.

different beer has different shelf life. IE beer in clear glass has less shelf life than dark glass. cans have the least because they have to be preserved differently due to the alluminum. watch for seasonal beers IE SAM ADDAMS, SARANAC during the begining of the distibution you will not get a better beer because they do not use preservatives "its seasonal they dont have to" avoid them near end of production time. if you forget your beer in the cooler or in the car for a week, dont throw it out. save it for cooking or that annoying friend that nver brings his own

If the cap is still on it , it might be ok, cause you don't know how long the store had it on the shelf, it could have been sitting there for a year, but if it was in the sun I would not drink it it will be skunky
