From memory it was a hard boiled egg diet that had some level of success because it takes more calories to digest boiled eggs than you can absorb from them. Unfortunately, that does not answer all of the human being dietry needs as boiled eggs have little fiber and other required nutrients, so eating too many boiled eggs can leave you constipated and ill-nourished.
If you are interested in the basic principle employed in the boiled egg diet it would probably be much healthier for you to do a search on the internet for "negative calory diet", as many foods have this characteristic and this approach may offer a more balanced intake of nutrients. If it worked though, I am sure that it would be far more popular than it seems to be. Good luck.

Why would you want the egg diet? Eggs have so much cholesterol in there. I can already hear your arteries clogging.

If you're looking for a quick fix for weight loss, forget it. There's not miracle diet, no magic pill, and no wonder food. You have to burn more calories than you eat. That's the sad truth. I'm sorry.

You can eat 2 egg yolks per day and as many egg whites as you want...as they are all protein and no fat....that is the cardinal rule.
