That's the thing about the faith of the faithful. It convinces them that they have all the answers to the mysteries people have been debating for thousands of years, and they don't even have to put any effort into searching for it, either.
I think they only say that they have something left to learn, because they are taught that this is a good thing to say. I think in reality, they do think that they have all the answers, but out of duty say, "I still have things to learn".

Your point is well taken I wish it changed the fact .
It only takes a little of the taste of reality to turn on fantasy and seek a better way of looking at life. I've spent close to half a century and the fact of my ignorance is like calling grass green I'm still trying to bury it in the knowledge of experience and the works of the brighter and more articulate through reading and diverse studies . Narrow mindedness is an enemy for all of us just as false pride and stubbornness and brainwashing the youth . Free thinking requires the courage and determination that is needed to become enlightened at least as well as one can , but just as there is no god no human is god either . Delusion is insidious and more difficult to get rid of then weeds in ones lawn. Stick with honesty and maybe the truth will be found . Because when people know all to begin with they seldom ever learn .

No religious person has all the answers, only what they can pass on to others from what they know and have read through their life believing in their faith.
I don't think you really do know what is best for every human, no can know, except each individual person. Your definition of what could be best for every person in the world comes from what you believe, not what others would.
Everyone has something left to learn, we can never fully know everything about one subject in the space of our entire lives.
I find it admirable however that you have not gone on to preach anything, so humble, I would agree with to a certain extent.

I'm a Christian, I read and study and have a general understanding of the Bible, but there is a lot more to learn.
But there is one thing that we must be beware of, and that is to not get into an argument about a subject in the Bible. Never argue. I know sometimes it's hard not to.

One of the reasons people come on so strong as if they have all the answers is because they haven't studied enough. They hear or read a little bit and then think they have the understanding of scriptures. Nothing could be further from the truth!

They usually are brainwashed on their own accord or by the lunacy of their particular denomination. I study all the different ones that I can and dissect: I borrow what I like because none are invariably correct and at the same time---none are totally incorrect. Does that help you? I'm with you.

Nobody on their own who is a christian fits in both catagories. Only with the Lord's help do you fit into both catagories.

They don't have the answers. They want people to think they do so that will come across as appearing holy and close to God. Another term for this is "delusional".
