A mono 600 watts RMS @ 2 ohm amp with the subs wired like so http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/PARALLEL-SERIES.jpg

Be sure the amp is CEA-2006 compliant.

If you have two of the GTO1502D (2-ohm dual voice coils) you should get a mono amp rated for 600 watts at 2 ohms.

If you have two of the GTO1504D (4-ohm dual voice coils) you should get a 2-channel amp that can provide a BRIDGED output of 600 watts at 4 ohms.

In either case, with subwoofers you are almost always better off running them on a bridged or mono amp, as opposed to running them on 2 different channels of a stereo amp.

wire the speakers in series-parallel so you have 4 ohms and get a mono amp that is 600 watts rms at 4 ohms that is the best way to do it.running the amp at 2 ohm stereo just makes the amp work harder and may shorten the life of the amp.

They sound the same to me. Look for the quality of the amp signal, compare the bass boost stuff like that. Do both amps have the same MAX output?

My system is similar but using Orion equipment... I personally went for a chunky mono rig... but u cant go wrong either way... Whatever suits your budget really.
