My childhood friend is in the united states coastguard and left me his military e-mail address and phone number to stay in touch. He has always been true to staying in touch. Out of the blue, his e-mail address is not applicable anymore and his name is no longer recognized.
I am afraid that something bad may have happened to him. I do not have any way to contact his family. how can i go about finding out if he is alive? is there a military database people search or something?

Go to the website Anthony gave you, go to the alphabetical bracket(a-d, g-h etc.) that includes his last name and use control f on the computer to find it. Good luck I hope you don't find his name.

If he's a childhood friend, you should know his parents. Ask them.

go to the site the anthony kid had and then use hightlight to find it really quick
