it would be muchhhh better if you did it in person or on the phone
tho the closer to real life you get when asking someone out the harder it is
you do have a better chance
so yeah during one of your 3 hour chats pop it out

Just ask her if she would like to go out with you. Things are alot easier when you right or type than they are to say them. It is a common study

You need to be calm and confident with yourself. Go up to her and tell her that you have liked her since (whenever you have liked her) and you then ask her out. If she says no then you guys need to be friends.

ask her in person. it increases your chances of getting a genuine answer (you get to see her reaction in person) and a yes. many people (myself included) would hate being asked over the internet.
