I have eaten something call a 100-year old egg. This is an egg that is buried in a sunny patch of ground, and left to sit and rot slowly for 100 days. the yolk turns a sickly greenish color, and the whites actually turn a dark brown, almost black. It was suprisingly not that bad, after you get past the disgusting appearence.
