In GoldenEye: Rouge/Rogue Agent, How do you get multiplayer mode?

I just bought the game and I finished the first three levels but whenever I'm on the Campain option, and I want to get to multiplayer, i just skip down to Profile Settings and Extras. How do I get multiplayer mode?

i have the Playstation 2 version. I have both controllers.

More than one joystick and what system are u on
also it is a good game.
