A lite weight, small laser with a effective range of say 1000 yards that you could set for stun and/or kill.
Now as for a gun that is currently available...
I got a couple...
one would be a upgrade to my bushmaster. I would like a 20 inch barrel with 1x8 inch twist rate mounted in a mono rail with a flat top upper.
The other would be a custom built rifle dont which maker Id choose but would have the Remington 700 action chambered for 6.5x284 with a match grade 28 or 30 inch barrel with a twist to stabilize a 140 grain bullet. Set in a thumbhole stock with wide forearm topped with the best match / tactical Leupold scope money can buy.

"Rick" that's "Phalanx" =20mm CIWS >been there done that< At Lake City Army Ammunition Plant we tested all NATO rounds up to and including 30mm...GAU-8A 30mm - M61-A1 20mm- 20mm Phalanx CIWS - vs 3" steel plates at 1500M - at night - that's too much fun :-)

I could kick myself for passing on one>I was at a gun show about 25 years ago, and a guy had two of the 1 of 1000 1873 Winchester rifles. One of them was nearly perfect, he offered it to me, and I said no, I have kicked myself ever since. If memory serves there were only 163 of the 1 of 1000 1873 Winchester rifles, he wanted 35K - geeez - I wonder what that rifle is worth today.

a gun that always works with relatively cheap bullets that will knock a man/door/tree/dictator/car door/concrete hollow blocks out in one shot, but annihilate it with full auto
your barret is really cool, but try lugging it and ammo around for more than a couple hours
