Hey, ease up!
Look, you're 14. This is not true love. Why do you need to be alone with him? Fine, I get that having an adult hovering over your shoulder can be really annoying, but they love you and don't want anything to happen to you. Reassure them, saty safe, and dont go out alone. Got out with a group of friends (most parents are okay with that) and DON'T LIE. That is a reallreally stupid thing to do. Parents (good ones) have a sort of radar that can detect when their kid is lying. They'll know something is wrong and won't trust you. So don't. Have them meet this guy so they can get to know him, and so that they can see or not if they can trust him with their daughter. They just want what's best for you. Don't resent that.

Being a mother of 2 children.....I know where your ma and pa are coming from. I did a lot of stupid things at your age and they probaly did the same and they just want to protect you. At fourteen I am sure you think you are in love and maybe you are but you are very young and you'll understand when you have children one day. Maybe he can come over to watch a movie or get dropped off at a movie or to a restaurant.

Honey, you don 't need to talk you parents out of this one. You will have plenty of time to be all alone with boys. Just relax and take in the moment and try not to be anxious to speeed things up in life.

Don't...they feel as they do for a reason...when you are a parent, you'll agree with them...trust 'em...they've been 14 before, they know how it works.

You blame your parents. You say they are lame or whatever. Blame them them so you don't look bad. I have 2 teenagers when ever they don't want to look bad in front of their friends I tell them to blame me. It's worked so far...try it
