Because, as far as i can see, they are only confirming what the Bible says. If i'm wrong, please tell me.

Any time a movie/ TV show makes the "dark side" look cool or interesting or tolerable - people opposed to this will form groups to point out that this is wrong to them.
Also people give too much credit to the dark forces and not enough to the light. Worldly pleasures aside the dark side has little leverage to eternal happiness., but people feel insecure in the light winning over darkness, due to how the light operates so much differently than darkness.
(Oh I said that already, sorry.)
So basically if it's not pro-Christian then people think the story is anti-Christian.
You are not wrong, you just have more faith in the light than others.

First of all, why would a Christian want to watch a movie about the Devil?

Secondly...it's not scripturally accurate. Not even close. A baby born (from a jackal, if I remember correctly) with 666 stamped on his head that goes around killing people in his life??

Same reason they think it's OK to waste everyone's time and money by suing schools who keep Harry Potter in their libraries: They have nothing better to do.

I mean, no-one is capable of leading perfect lives.

So they are free to condemn others when they are leading imperfect lives too?
