NO! Gatorade is drenched with calories and sugar. If you want to rehydrate yourself, which aids your body in weight loss, try Gatorade's take on water--Propel. Only 45 calories per bottle. You feel great and can keep working out. But STAY AWAY from Gatorade. You might as well go get a 32 oz Mountain Dew from the 7-11.

gatorade isn't meant to make you lose weight. It's main purpose is to hydrate and replenish your body when you're enduring a lot of exercise, because it has certain sugars, electrolytes, and postassium that keep your body going, things that water doesn't have.

actually, if you're not working out, gatorade isn't THE BEST thing in the world to be drinking, because it does have a decent amoung of calories and sugar. So unless you're breaking a sweat, don't drink too much gatorade.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

No. Gatorade, as with most "sports" drinks have about 60 calories per 8 oz. serving. And when your done with a run, do you just drink 8 oz? No. If your like most runners, you slam the whole quart bottle (240 calories). Compared with a regular soda (about 170 calories). It's also filled with high fructose corn syrup. That is worse than sugar. In alot of health professionals opinions, HFCS is poison. HFCS is the problem with this country, why we are fat. It's good on hot days after a run or activity for the "quick" boost, since it's full of carbs. Stick to water if you want to lose weight. Keep yourself hydrated before and after your run, or whatever you do. Drink as much water as you want. Again, not to pick on the bottled water industry, but pick a bottled water that is "spring water". Not purified water. That is nothing more than tap water.
