I think it takes all the more faith since we have been given charge to be stewards of earth.
To me, I need to know God so that I can be the best steward possible.
Jesus rejected politics as the way to usher in the Kingdom. That was really what Judas was trying to do: get Jesus to be a political leader. Instead, He laid down His life so that we could have the Holy Spirit.
Now that we have the Holy Spirit, we are capable of relating to God and hear what He has to say. I agree, the dumb politics aren't going to get it done...I personally believe it will be done through family.
Great question!

We have dominion over the animals and we have control over ourselves to a point , but there is no way we have control over the planet that God created for us to llive on. God is in charge, not us. To prove this theory, Can you make a star appear or a star to blow into a million pieces? Can you make a tree out of dust or a human being from nothing. to think that we are in charge of this planet puts us equal qith God and that just is not happening.

How can you have faith/belief in your parents when you are in charge of your own life and the choices you make?
Nice try, but the "there can't be a God because I'm not a robot" argument has no merit.

Just like everything else, we messed up the planet and our responsibilities as stewards. If we did things His way from the beginning, we wouldn't have to have faith' We would still be walking in the garden with Him. As it was in the beginning.

We aren't in charge of this planet. But I think I know what you are trying to ask. "How can we have faith in god when we humans are the ones who govern ourselves?" Is that close?

God put us in charge of the planet. It's called stewardship. We are to keep the earth and all the creatures as caretakers.
Adam was allowed to name all the animals.

We aren't in charge of this planet. God allows us to live on it, but he has ultimate control of what happens.
