Well it depends where you dump them off some places put them to sleep if nobody wants them in 24hrs. but then their are some places that will make sure they get really good homes. I would drop them off at a no kill animal shelter They will probably be better then where they are now, Just make sure those dogs don't go near them keep them in a seperate room until you decide what to do, Why do you have cats anyway if your dogs kill them?

Sorry Rachel, you were very clear in your first question that you wanted to make money for a "make over" and "shopping".

Now your story has changed and you have dogs killing them? And it's your mother's fault? I find you totally uncredible.

"whci hone would u rather do..
dump cats off and have no home or sell them so they will have a h". <<< This sounds so typical of emotional blackmail.

You people sound like something I never want to be around...in real life or fiction. Whichever you are.

Right about now, I think you are abusing this site.

Rachel, it's amazing how you went from "I'm selling them to give myself a makeover" to a matter of life or death.

Again, find a no-kill shelter and take ALL your cats there. Use http://www.petfinder.com to find rescue groups on your area. A no-kill shelter will vaccinate the cats, fix the cats, and make sure that they ALL find homes. They will keep the cats until they do.

While you are at it, you may want to drop off your dogs as well. It doesn't sound like your family is responsible enough to care for ANY animal.

There is another choice. Take them to an animal shelter or rescue group. You don't have to do ANYTHING other than drop them off. This way the cats get a good chance at finding a home, and they will get the proper veterinary care that they need. This is the best option because rescue groups find good homes for animals, and they require all animals to be spayed and neutered. I really think this is your best option. Good Luck.

Definately take them to your local SPCA. They don't euthanize unadopted pets and they certainly will take them. I don't think you will have an easy time selling them. I j ust adopted 2 cats this past week from the SPCA and it cost me 60 bucks for the 2. The SPCA is also able to screen homes and has the right to refuse adoption. They are able to collect more information about the people who want to adopt your cats than you might be able to.

take them to the nearest humane society, they don't deserve to be dumped. they didn't ask to be born spay your freakin' cat lady! they deserve a good shot @ life the humane society or other rescue group can give them that.
