Some people made their own choice. Do you not know that God was concerned about everyone that was in that building. Some people fell to their own doom because of their own free will. Where there were other who decided not to go to work for a strange reason and were spared. My friend had a dream two days before 911. She was in downtown New York where the towers were. She saw a long line of people coming out of the towers. She did not understand what it meant until 911 happened. It was God pulling His people out to avoid the disaster.

No, He was right there weeping. And he was welcoming them into his arms and taking them home.
Let me tell you something, Many and I do mean many belivers of Christ were praying before this happened. God had been warning many that something was going to happen months before this happened. Most were't told details, but were given dreams about this terrible disaster. I was one of them. (I had a dream of seeing a missle that looked like an airplane going into a highrise building exactly on 8/11. I saw that the danger was coming from the east) I was warning people months before hand that something terrible was about to happen. Go to some of the reliable Christian dream forums that dated around that time and you'll see. While I did not know that it would hit in New York, I knew that three places would be hit. I wasn't the only one. God was warning, and we were praying and crying out to God long before it happened. As for telling those who don't believe in these things, who would have listened or believed or acted upon these things. No one, they would have thought we were crazy.
It wasn't God who did it, but the work of Satan. Man or should I say men, where given a choice, and they choose death and destruction, they choose the liar and deceiver. While many innocent lives were taken that day, there were thousands more that the Lord saved that day. Even though Satan ment evil to happen that day, God drew his children to him. Millions of people who witnesses on TV that day drew close to Him and prayed and cried out to Him. Satan may have killed those 3000, But God won the victory, for millions came to him that day and for days after, even those who don't believe in Jesus. There is a battle on, and we're involved in it. Like any battle lives are terribly lost, innocent lives the most.
I will always remember that day. I have never cried like that in my life. But I also have some peace and joy in knowing I will one day see the innocent believers that went to God that day.

why blame God for Sept. 11?
and why just Sept. 11..wasn't it just as bad as all the other horrible incidents around the world.
why not ask about why did God not stop the Rwanda genocide?
people (or animals) are the ones who create most of the horrible problems in this world..if God were to control humankind...then there would be this "destiny" where there were no meaning to life.

I ponder about that sometimes.
My guess is , human kind is responsible regardless the innocent suffer, for example, children in Africa and all around the world suffer from hunger and illness. He holds us accountable for what we're doing with our responsibility in how we treat each other.
For instance he's not going to perform a miracle to all of them just because the government is being stingy on helping the poor. And it's not his fault Human's decided to sin, and commit mass murder the day of the towers' crash.

He is not, He allows tragic things to happen to remind us that we have Him to turn to when we are sad or in need of help. it also reminds us that we cannot escape His punishment when judgement day comes so better be good as early as now and turn to Him before he send another tragedy like he did in Noah's time and when He burned Soddom and Gomorah.

He wasn't asleep but He also created the law of gravity and can't just break the rules willy nilly. For those that called on Him, He was always with them, every moment.

I don't think being trite about a day like 9/11 is respectful or tasteful. I can't even discern your logic, or lack thereof.

Obviously, you havent grabbed the notion of God,your question is as ignorant as the one they asked Jesus on his way to the crucifiction"You saved others, why dont you save yourself" I think you will have to learn humility someday, and that the innocent always die for others
