Use common sense by first consulting with your doctor. Get a full physical and make sure that you are monitored and don't have any underlying health problems that need to be addressed, such as diabetes or hypothyroidism. Then get busy doing cardio. You don't even have to do alot at the beginning. Ten minutes every day and build up to thirty. When that is easy add resistance training like hand weights or a theraband. You can find the visuals all over the web. Even on webmd.com. Definitely watch what you eat. No junk food or fast food, they have hidden fats and calories. Eat lean protein and lots of veggies. Also, eating several meals 5-6 in smaller portions will rev your metabolism. All this combined will help. Don't deny yourself treats. That only leads to binging. Good luck to you.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

cut down on your carbohidrates to under 10 grams per day!!
That should be enough for a 5 to 8 lbs weight loss per week. Also eat 8 to 10 times a day to accelerate yout metabolism, but remember to keep the carb count under 10 grams.
It would be wise if you get mor info on the atkins diet so you can continue loosing weight. Atkins is not a diet, is more a way of life, so go to the site and read how it works!
Good luck!

I've done alot of dieting and other things but the thing that worked the best for me was
quit drinking sodas, eat the recommend porportions of food, eats healthier food (not greasy, not fatty), snack on veggitables instead of junk, jog/walk, pushups, situps/crunches, and drink plenty of water. adn keep in mind that if you want to keep weight off, you have to make the effort and it is a lifestyle change.

I think that is a lot to fast, which is dangerous. My suggestion is to drink lots and lots of water and cut soda out completely, I mean even diet soda, there is something in even diet soda that slows/prevents weight loss, it's the potassium I believe. One thing I have found helpful is when you go out to eat, as soon as your food comes, ask for a take out box and IMMEDIATELY put half of your meal in it, out of sight, out of mind. And do not eat anything white. Think about it...bread, cakes, pasta, potatoes, rice, sugar. All starches, all empty calories, all WHITE!!!
Best of luck! If you set your mind to it, you CAN do succeed!
