It takes effort, and can't be measured in time. You will get better when you chose to get better, and make the necessary effort to move on and get a better life. I wish you all the best!

This is different for every guy some it takes a long time to overcome something like this, some just start dating again thinking it will help them get over the loss. This is totally a personal thing that you can never give an exact time limit too
it really depends how much you cared for them/or loved them.
Then of course there is the other thing how did it end did she cheat on you and wanted to split with the other guy/girl?
If the break-up was mutual then just get on with your life
it will get easier over time but you need to just let it go until you have done this your just going to keep dragging yourself down.
God bless and Good luck

Theres no rule since the breakup depends on the situation of the breakup and the circumstances surrounding yoru life at the time.. My worst was my most recent ex who I dated for a little over 2 years and it took me 2 months to get over her and start dating again.

If you really love someone, why get over it. Fix it and make it work if you love her that much. If it didnt work out and you dont want to be with her, every tiem you think about her know it was the right decission and think about the reason it didnt work. I havent had this experience, so sorry i didnt answer the question. I hope it helps

Not sure if ever got over it, but moved on after a couple months, then loved again several months after that. Still think about her now and then, but more like just wondering.

About 18 months to really not care. I dated some but I knew I would not be serious again for a while.

Not a man but I can tell you that my BF would move in the same day he left. If you love her then dont let go so easily.
