My friend has a little girl that is about 2 and she likes to play with her poop. sorry i know its gross. but she keeps rubbing her poop in the carpet. I dont know how to help my friend, she spanks her for it, but it keeps happening. any suggestions would be great, and only serious ones please, my hubby and i already exhausted all the jokes possible out of this one.

well, shes not potty training yet, wondering if she should, her daughter is digging the poop out of her diaper.

I know it sounds gross, but it's natural for a child to be curious about their own waste. She is ready for potty training. Your friends needs to tell her that the proper place for her poop is in the toilet. She needs to get a potty chair, the thick training panties, and get started. Your friends should have her sit on the potty every hour for a few minutes. Children usually mess themselves around the same time every day. Mom needs to be watching for this and get her to the potty when she notices the signs of needing to relieve herself.

sounds like she may be trying to get attention. ....I have potty trained 7 kids and at this time also potty training an almost 2 yr old girl. I have nothing against spanking but have never spanked when potty training.
tell her no maybe time out but not spank ...when potty training your not suppose to make a big deal out of the mistakes or accidents ....only to praise the successes or the efforts.
