I am very impressed by your using the term "root cause," Mr. Pride. In fact, one could posit that pride is the root cause for your negative thoughts. Or, ignorance is the root cause of your negative actions. Or anger is the root cause of your negative speech. So, what is the root cause of you? What is the root cause of all of our negativities? Surely, it is the grasping at a truly established self. Surely, it is an attitude that cherishes ourselves before others. I think you know that the truth lies somewhere within you, and to try and spread hatred and so forth, towards people who hold nothing against you is aggressive and unwarranted behavior. Nonetheless, I hope you find some relief in the knowledge that I wish for your every happiness. Though I am completely incapable of providing that to you, it is still my wish.

I know very little about Hinduism, except that they, too, believe in reincarnation. I do know a bit about Buddhism, and that is that many people who use some Buddhist methods are practicing Christians and Jews. Buddhism does not have a god; it acknowledges the Buddha as having acheived enlightment--but as a mortal man.

Ha ha ha....laughter and joy should be compulsory and as natural as breathing, thank you for the moment of mirth.

I'm unsure whether I'm Athiest or Agnostic but I've never been called a disease before...ha...ha...ha, wow I've never considered myself the root cause for a disease....in fact I've never been called the root cause of anything before except perhaps derision.

This is a new experience for me.

Thank you for your insight and wonderful sense of humour.

Peace from a Buddhist..

Unlikely.

I think, although I'm not certain, that reading religious scripture is the root cause of atheism. But maybe it's going to religious services.
