Metabolic syndrome is just a collection of various signs and symptoms which put you at high risk for a number of diseases. You'll need a statin for the high cholesterol, blood pressure lowering medication for the high blood pressure, exercise for the weight, etc.
Your primary care physician can probably start you on what you need.

An endocrinologist and cardiologist since metabolic syndrome also has a high risk of coronary heart disease.

I would suggest an endocrineologist. The primary gland that controls metabolism in the body is the thyroid which gets its marching orders from the pituatary gland via the Thyroid Stimulating Hormone.

A diabetologist or endrocrinologist. I think the two specialities overlap quite a bit and there are several doctors who have both specialities. A referral to a DIetitian would be a good thing too.

Mostly people gain weight while in depression and they stop taking anti depressants as they think that weight gain is the side effect to taking anti depressants. But in actual it is not side effect of anti depressant. Well! i suggest, you should go to the doctor.

My family practice physician treats mine. Ask your PCP about refering you to a doc that can treat you if yours can't.
