more agressive? I'm not talking about yelling and all that.
The thing is he acts so young. Sometimes too young, but I love him still.
How can I get him to stop being so whipped!
Everytime I say "where do you want to go out?" he says "wherever you want"
and if I ask "what movie do you want to see?"
he says "whatever one you want"
I want him to have his own opinion and take his own side and disagree sometimes!
I feel like I'm running the relationship and I just want him to be more manly and rough with me, not so soft and delicate.
should I just tell him about this?
help!

For starters, TALK TO HIM! Communication is vital in a relationship, and don't forget, it's a two way street. Get this all out in the open and see what he says about it, if you're young, it just might be a misinterpretation of "what women want" on his part. However, here are some things you may want to keep in mind when you head down this path:

This behavior that he exhibits MAY be linked to something deeper, something that happened to him as a child and manifests itself in the form of low self confidence. If this is the case, don't think for a second you alone will be able to "change him". That may be a serious issue that will be difficult to defeat. There is a lot of psychology behind it all that neither I nor anyone else on Yahoo Answers is qualified to talk about.

Secondly, understand your desire to be dominated in a relationship may also be a red flag. This is often a precursor to violence in relationships. This quality dominance in a man is not necessarily a good one. Obviously I know nothing about you, and please take my advice with a grain of salt, but, always keep what I have said here in the back of your mind.

Sounds like a good guy, don't worry about it he just wants to make you happy. Next time say "Babe, it's okay to disagree with me. I'm not going to get mad at you." or this week say I want you to pick the movie this time etc. he'll get used to making decisions and eventually do it on his own. It'll probably take a little time, so be patient with him cause he puts you before himself and most guys do whatever they want. It shows how much he cares for you.

I wish that I didn't have rejection to my opinions all the time, like you, but if you want him to lead now, then I would come out and tell him, to be himself, and suggest what he wants.

sure tell him about it. he will understand, and he will try harder. say you want to go wherever he wants to go. dont ask him where he wants to go, make him choose. whenever you would normally ask where he wants to go, say "soo.....il go wherever you want to go." then hel be all ok how bout the movies... or somthing like that. good luck!

Sure, try this. Invite him to your house. When he enters your bedroom, he finds you naked, chained to the bed with a gag in your mouth. If he helps you up, he is either gay or a pusssy, so dump him. This always works for me.

When you make out with him just mention it and say you think its sexy when he knows what he wants. Tell him it turns you on.
