Practcally all the canned Eukenuba cat food is on recall... but in particular those cans with certain codes. Look at the bottom of one of your Eukenuba (or Iams) cans. You wll find some numbers stamped there. There are two lines of numbers. On the second line you will find the product code. If the FIRST four numbers are 6339 through 7073, followed by 4197 (the plant code), that product is on recall. For example,
First line: mmddyy .... more numbers
Second line: 6339 4197 xxx This is on recall; so is all the cans up to 70734197
But Petco and Petsmart have removed all the Eukenuba cans from the shelves irregardless just to be on the safe side.

It is a recall on WET dog and cat food products... DRY is ok. I just called Petsmart!
If you give your Kitty's WET product Give them some Cottage Cheese with Rice tonight and go to the store!
