Go to Denver for a nice 3 day getaway, nice restaurants, you can rent a car and go up to Colorado....it's a nice area.
Or somewhere hot, hit Bahamas or Mexico and stay in a 3 star that may not cost you so much money.

From where? lol. A cheap weekend getaway for me may cost you $5000 to do the same thing.
In general, find a bed & breakfast with a great view within 200-300 miles of wherever you are. Bring a bottle of bubbly (may I suggest Schramsberg Brut Rose), a bottle of wine for the second night, and have a blast. : )
