When we were gettin divorced my ex agreed I should take the kids because it was in everyones best interest. We even had it all agreed upon, custody, support, living arrangements and it was all in writing.
Then she changed her mind because she decided her "Pride and Reputation" were at stake if she gave up the kids. We went to court and she won custody of course. When I picked up my kids for the summer they had a lot of dental and medical problems that she didn't bother to treat and they were complaining to me about the men she brings home for "sleepovers."
No, I will never forgive or forget this. Never. What kind of mother admits what is in the best interest of the kids but then puts her pride before them then doesn't bother to take care of them?
