I have a pug named Lucy, She is so beautiful and she has won awards.
I thought about breeding her for a long time, I researched on whelping and did my work.
But im scared, to breed her, I dont want anything to happen to her. But i would love to have puppies with her quality.
I wouldnt even sell the puppies either.
I bought a good quality black pug, and he is almost old enough to breed by the time she should be in heat.
Im having second thoughts should i go through with it?

Pugs often have to have c-sections, because they cannot always pass all of the puppies. As long as you do not let her start to go into labor before you have the c-section done there are very few risks. If the female is of proper age and healthy their are usually very few problems.

I would just have a planned c-section with her. They are a lot cheaper when scheduled and they are a lot better for the mother and the puppies.

Talk to your vet. Similar breeds, like Boston Terriers, need c-sections because natural birth is very hard on the mother and complications pop up frequently simply because of the babies' head size, etc. At the clinic where I work, we have Bostons come in for emergency c-sections all the time, but their owners didn't get any prenatal care or check ups done. I'd do research on dystocia in Pugs.

yeah, just like bulldogs. the puppies heads are so big.
you may have to hav a c section
just cuz you got good quality doesn't mean you'll get good pups. ther's no guarantee. research some more.
if you're in it for the money, don't !!
if you don't want to sell the pupies like you say, then why do you want to breed?

You're an amateur breeder looking to make money.
If your female has won awards......awards in what? then someone is wanting something just like her and you want to produce it. and sell it. otherwise you wouldn't be on here asking questions about it. if your dog, as a pug, isn't AKC registered, then you are just adding to the pet population of unwanted pets. either that or you will have one hell of a houshold full of pugs. and i don't know anyone who would want that.
so cut the crap and just really ask what it is you want to know!!

My advice is NO don't breed! but i'm sure you will anyway

It is true many pugs have difficulty giving birth. Go to your vet and have your pug examined, and be aware when she goes into labor a Cesarean section may be what she'll need.

My pug had nine beautiful babies without any difficulty, My daughters pugs also had litters without difficulty. If it worries you keep in touch with a good vet, he'll help take care of her

With breeding, there is always a chance of complication for both the mother and the pups!

What kind of awards? Any health testing?
