It depends on what form you want the public to use in expressing their forgiveness.

If you're, say, Mel Gibson, you don't much care what they think of you so long as they keep buying tickets to your movies.

If you're a pro basketball player, you'll go into rehab if your team's owner threatens to fire you -- thereby ending your career -- for refusing.

If you're President Clinton, you don't get forgiveness; you get to spend the last two years of your political career answering stupid questions instead.

If you're Britney Spears, you're messed up no matter who forgives you. And speaking of messed up, if you're Ted Haggard, you just take a three-week gay cure and then move out of state -- voila, problem solved. Or at least removed.

I could go on, but I'm sure everybody here has read today's newspapers already.

No, I dont believe rehab is replacing Jesus. Rehab is to help a person with care, councelling and therapy thru an emotional or a physical problem. bettyk

No, I don't think so.

Each community has a mental health clinic that has therapists to deal with obsession and helps those who were abused as children. Verbal, physical and/or sexual abuse as a child can lead to lasting mental health issues as an adult. Am I right in guessing that you were verbally abused by your parents as a child and possible hit frequently by them?
