You and your friend have decided to share a donut. You decide to split it into two equal pieces, but you know your friend will cut a bigger piece for himself. How can you make sure that you get the same size piece as your friend gets?

If nobody gets it I will post the answer in 10 minutes.

The best I know (and have heard of) is sharing of responsibilities which effectively forces fairness and best of ability. So here you would ask your friend to cut the doughnut and you will choose which piece you will have. That way he will be forced to cut even halves.

Your friend cuts the donut, then you get to choose the first piece.

Its a donut and a donut is a circle right? So isn't anyway you cut a circle there a two equal halfs. So anyway you cut it horizontal, diagonal, vertical its going to be equal. That was my best guess.
