Yes.
I don't feel obligated, only thankful because I know now that I am supposed to be alive vs. just being lucky to still be here. I asked God to reveal His purpose for me, and I get clues along the way to let me know I am headed in the right direction. I still have a long way to go. The ultimate purpose for any Christian is to live his or her life in the service of the Lord by glorifying him.

I have come close to deaths door several times. One time in a car wreck at 90+mph on an over pass I came to the realization that without God my life would be meaningless. I knew him of course, but I had lead less than exemplary life style. It was then that I became convinced I needed to go to a Christian school that I had almost given up on. I was going to go one way and I changed my mind. It has made the difference in my life.
Now I believe all Christians are under the duty of the Great Commission and it does not end till we do. So yes we are under a duty that comes with the acceptance of Christ.

yes while driving home a few weeks ago I was behind a utility truck.I suddenly heard the voice of my deceased mother in law yell at me from the passenger seat to move over,so I changed lanes. Not even 3 seconds later a huge silver tool box flew off the utility truck and bounced 6 ft into the air.Had I been behind him and not moved over the tool chest would've landed right through my windsheild causing me to drive either into the factory or into the river.Either way I wouldn't have survived I would have been crushed on impact of that large silver tool chest.
I don't believe in Heaven or Hell but I do believe there is a place that we go to when we pass.I don't think I have a duty or mission here on this planet but I DO have lesson's that I must learn and teach and then if I have done that then I can reincarnate again and choose which lessons I'd like to learn and which one's I'd like to teach. In each life with each lesson a fulfillment is achieved so that I can become whole of what I am only a piece of.Each life is the puzzle piece I need to solve the answer to my belief of what is the final outcome....

Yes, I have. I was thrown from a car that rolled after my friend fell asleep at the wheel. The car ended up coming to a stop on top of me, and I spent two months in hospital.
I may feel that I have "duties" to complete in my life-time, but they have nothing to do with any religious obligation.

My entrance to heaven was given to me at the foot of the cross, the moment I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. I had a near death experience after having had a relationship with the Lord for seven years. I believe my purpose was not fulfilled yet, so it was not my time to join the Lord in heaven, but I am where I'm supposed to be at the present. The purpose will not determine whether I go to heaven, because I am already a member of God's Kingdom. The purpose by which I live now is to serve God in faithfulness for His Glory.

I rather have come close to to deaths door distinctive circumstances. One time in a motor vehicle injury at ninety+mph on an over bypass I have been given right here to the top that without God my life might desire to be meaningless. I knew him for sure, yet I had lead under exemplary life sort. It replace into then that I grew to alter into advantageous i desired to flow to a Christian college that I had merely approximately given up on. i replace into going to flow one way and that i replaced my concepts. It has made the version in my life. Now i think of all Christians are shrink than the interest of the excellent fee and it does no longer end till we do. So advantageous we are shrink than an legal duty featuring the popularity of Christ.

I was 9 when this happened to me. I became an atheist at 11. So my answer would be yes, I've been close to death. No, I don't feel as if I have an obligation to any deity.

Yes I have been close to dying.
No I am not and never was a christian. Your question assumes the person reading it is from a christian belief system.
