I trusted a girl and I told her who I liked. She purposely asked him out and he sed yes. Now she's going to dump him and I want to know... if he asks me out should I take her sloppy seconds? I am in love with him. Do I say yes because I love him or no because he chose her over me?

Why wait until your girlfriend dumps him and hope that he does ask you out? Why not just take matters into your own hands right now? Have a face to face conversation with this guy. Tell him the truth about what happened. That you told your friend that you really liked him and that she went right then and there and asked him out before you could. Tell him
that she is telling you that she is going to dump him. If you know specific information, then tell that too. Tell him that you still really like him and that you think that you and him should be together instead. Wouldn't it be sweet if he dumped her for you before she dumps him? Now that is what I call sweet revenge. And after he dumps her, you can dump her as a friend too. Because a real friend wouldn't do what she did. This guy never chose her over you. He never had a choice. But you could give him a choice now. Go for it girl.

If he knew that you liked him and he chose the other girl over you, then I wouldn't say yes to him. Also, how can you be in love with someone that you don't know on a relationship level. You NEVER want to be desperate! Besides, this girl may have had a good reason for dumping him...think about it, do you want to be stuck with baggage? Try to get to know him on a friendship level first (if you already don't) that way he will be more open to telling you the truth and from there you can decide if he is worth your time. You have the upperhand, make him work!!

PS: Get rid of that friend!

You don't love him, you don't really even know him...and if you decide to reject every guy that's previously been with another girl, you'll probably never date again (good luck finding a dating virgin, esp as you get older).

He probably isn't aware you liked him and someone beat you to the punch, so why be silly and reject him simply because someone you knew dated him first?

If you like the guy and you are both available, then go out with him. It's that simple. There's no such thing as sloppy seconds anyway, unless you make a mess when re-helping your plate at the dinner table.

"Sloppy seconds" is a sexual term. It doesn't really apply in this case, I hope.

Love is unconditional. History is irrelevant. So is everything else. It does not sound to me like you really love this person, because you do not know him. I think perhaps you may be confusing "lust" with love.

One more key thing about love--it is a choice. Love is not a puddle you accidentally step in. or an arrow shot into your behind. It is a conscious decision that you make.

So you are the ultimate author of your own destiny. Fill your boots, mon!

If you asked him out and he turned yo9u down for her then i would say no, he made his choice. But you said she asked him out I would think if he dumped her so quickly how long will it last with the 2 of you? Then how will your heart feel? It's not sloppy seconds it's just some girl who you thought was your friend trying to prove she is better than you, but all she is proving is she is easy and sleazy! Don't stupe to that level for any man! Good Luck!

If she was the one who went behond your back and got to him before he knew from you wated to go out, thats all on her, kick her *** to the curb. If there is something you want in life, you got to go out and get it, if you stay off to the side, then yeah, other people who are going after what they want will get them.
But, if you and he had been talkin and then she came in, she's still a Bi@tch but reverse the situation. A guy likes you, and strats talking to you and a little later his buddy decides he wants to "play" and you end up with himYou like the other guy you were consiering, but "player" gave you some good lines worked harder and got you. had his fun and leaves. Would you want the other guy to put you to the side because his bud was an ***?
Either way, she's wring for what she did, he's probally innocent`ish, so follow your heart, it wont lead you wrong.

Quite apparently, you don't know what 'sloppy seconds' is.
When you grow up, you'll eventually involve yourself with someone who's been involved before. That's the way it works. Except for one little round high-school teacher, I don't know anyone who stayed with their 'first' for more than ten years.

No, because he's on the rebound...rebounds never work as much as you may want them to. Remember, third time's the charm.

If you really feel strongly about the situation, go ahead and say yes and see where it goes from there. ;-)

Good luck! :-)~

You sed she asked him out, why don't you ask him out, before she dumps him. Revenge is sweet and if you find out you really don't love him, then dump him too.

first did he make a choice or did she get there first? if he knew both of you liked him, then he did, and you should at least say no the first time he ask. if he didn't know then, and went out with her, now wants to go out with you, then go for it.
