Hiya! I posted a q on here yesterday about getting a friendship ring for my adorable gf.We've been together almost a year & i wanted to get her a ring a Claddagh or friendship ring for her.Something to show her how much i love her & want to be with her forever.
I know i want to marry her. We've not discussed it much but i know she wants to be with me.I was going to get this ring but so many answers came back here saying go for a necklace instead.
I'm hopeless at these things. What kind of necklace should i get my girl to show i love her with all my heart & so want to be with her forever. What would you ladies appreciate? Thanks, Jackie.

I think like a sterling silver little chain with like a silver heart at the end of it (like the one from Tiffany & Co.) would be really cute. If you don't know what I'm talking about here's one it looks like:

Good luck and I'm sure she'll love it! She's lucky to have such a sweet boyfriend as you! :-)~

Giving ring to your girlfriend is only appropriate if you want to propose or marry her. Yes I do agree with the Y!Answers community that a necklace is more appropriate. Look around the malls, observe what other ladies your girlfriend's age are wearing. Visit some shops and get opinions from the sales consultants. From there you would have gathered enough information to decide on the designs and one that suits your budget.

see what shes got first if she has a chain she always wears go for something else it could have sentimental value and she might not want to change it if not why not take her for the afternoon out buy her a nice lunch and end up at the jewelers you can choose together it will mean more and you will now it will be something she really likes instead of something you would like her to have it will be good practice if you are thinking of marrage nothing worse than bling you wanna fling

I personally, think you should get her the ring. My bf bought me a promise ring for our 1 yr. anniversary, and I think it was the most beautiful gift he could've given me. He also read me a letter he wrote to me, telling me how he felt about me, and what he meant by giving me the ring. I'm pretty sentimental though, my secret shame (lol), but anyway, I think you should give her the ring.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure she'll love it. Good luck! =)

A diamond locket or pendant around a white gold chain.

I wouldn't give a ring because it might scare her off. She may not want to wear it everyday.
