He is getting pretty old and my friends ***** is on heat, we want to make sure he can get the job done. he is a very good dog and we'd like another like him.

You need to talk to your veterinarian before giving your dog ANY kind of medication. Dogs can't take the same kind of medications that humans can, some of them can be toxic to dogs. And if your dog is that old, then he shouldn't be used for breeding anyways.

Not only are you not funny, you are cruel. You are actually thinking of doing this to a poor, old dog. You are one of many that should not be allowed to have an animal.
I would love to put a shock collar on you and take you for a walk. A very long walk.

It is best to talk to your vet about that. I don't know if viagra will do the same thing for dogs as it does for human males.

Leave the old dog alone if he can produce offspring, great for him. You could be putting your beloved dog in grave danger.

Highly doubt it probably a good idea to consult your vet. def wouldn't try this on your own you could end up severly hurting your dog.

Would you take any medication that your dog has? No. Now why would he? Theres already enough dogs. Adopt one.

Don't even think about giving anything for humans to your dog.
They react weird to human medications, it might even kill him.
