The question is self-explanatory.

Yes, they did not exist in 33 AD but imagine that they did. Answers can be accepted from any viewpoint - Jewish, Roman, agnostic, atheist, anybody, et al.

History, Discovery or any other cable channel can be included.
I'm looking for something that would be equivalent to 2007's coverage - back in 33 AD. Some of you have said that there would have been little or no coverage but keep the answers coming.

FOX would have reported the facts only and leave our thoughts/opinions to us.
The others would have made Jesus out to be a criminal who was being executed. They would not have mentioned any of the miralces He did, or the lessons He taught while He was walking on earth. They would have crucified Him in the press and on TV, as they do today.
sad but true, and that is why I watch FOX NEWS ONLY!!!!!

It would have been a footnote, if covered at all. A story of a minor criminal executed in the usual way in a province distant from the center of the empire followed by a story of a wacko cult that believed that the executed criminal rose from the dead. A pause for commercial, then we'll be right back with the results of today's chariot races.

I doubt they would have covered at all. Historically the Crucifixion was an unimportant event, just a minor blip on the Roman political radar. Really it makes one wonder how this unimportant man from Galilee could have become the central figure in human history.

With few or no facts - and a lot of witnesses that weren't there. Worthless video. Story would probably deal with food, weather, and celebrities than actual facts. Oh, a what everyone wore and who made them, (shoes, jewelery, hair/make-up)
24 hours of cable garbage.
P.S. - There could be a stock market tie in also.

If Jesus were a Black man, they wouldn't cover it at all. If Jesus were a woman, whether Black or White, I would give it about 2 or 3 days at the most. If Jesus were a White male, they would still be covering it.

What ever got the best ratings. And the lie of the resurrection would have been a whole lot harder to pull off if they had existed.

They would air it as the view from the Romans. That what they were doing is right and they would ignore the other side or paint it as evil.
News is not news, its programed information in a studio.

Friday: "From CNN headquarters in Atlanta....Jesus Christ was crucified outside Jerusalem today. It was George W. Bush's fault, of course."
Sunday: "Jesus Christ rose from the dead today, but first - here's the latest on Ann Nicole Smith's baby..."

The news probably wouldn't have been there in the first place because crucifying Jewish radicals was common practice in Jerusalem.

I'd wait until the Histroy channel covered it... they're the only ones who use evidence to tell the truth.
Edit: No History channel?... then I'm lost... all else is often just propaganda, regardless of channel...
