Dr. Kurt Wise, the only creationist scientist with very impressive credentials.
"If all the evidence in the universe turns against creationism, I would be the first to admit it, but I would still be a creationist because that is what the Word of God seems to indicate."

Slight credibility problem in that quote. He's saying if what I support is proven to be a lie I will still support it because a 2000 year old book tells me to!!
Anyone with a thread of common sense knows this position is untenable and smacks of hypocrisy!
And he's their most credible scientist?

It sounds exactly like the attitude of most Evolutionists, except from the other point of view.
To quote evolutionist Richard Lewontin, Harvard genetics professor:
"Our willingness to accept scientific claims that are against common sense is the key to an understanding of the real struggle between science and the supernatural. We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs...in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism...moreover the materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine foot in the door. To appeal to an omnipotent deity is to allow that at any moment the regularities of nature might be ruptured, that miracles may happen."

Never heard of Kurt wise-bit I will look him up.
Are you sure you understand what he is saying? He does not say that he does or will admit evolution. He says that "if" any evidence "turns up" against creation that he will admit that the evidence does not support creation. To date there is no such evidence.
There are several hundreds of creation scientist with credentials as good as any evolutionist. To invalidate their credentials would be to invalidate all the evolutionist who went to the same schools. The is only one accredited institution that teaches creation science that I am aware of, and they only give masters degrees . That would be ICR. All their M.S's Ph.d's came from the same schools as the evolutionist. You can look at the bio of each professor, the schools they attended are posted.

Kurt Wise is the worst possible human being. He has no excuse for not knowing all of the scientific evidence that supports evolution and an old earth.
Most young earth creationists are too stupid or too lazy to learn the science. Mr. Wise cannot use this excuse. Shame on you Mr. Wise.

I see no credentials of his listed here. You can get your doctorate in just about anything; having a Dr. in front of your name is no guarantee that you know one whit about epistemology or the scientific method. or religion.
Celebrities on TV tell me daily that I should buy the product they're selling. I ingore them and go on with my daily life. I do the same with people like this Wise guy.

It's not really that bright of a statement, if you ask me. Any scientist worth his salt would not consider the "words" of a mythological being as scientific evidence.

How is Scripture above scientific evidence? If he has a legit reason to believe that Scripture is accurate and true, then the quote would be reasonable.

It is nice to know he could balance both creation and science. Not many can, especially here. It is a refreshing attitude, to say the least.
