I mean there's not really a lengthy process. You just keep on twisting and twisting it using beeswax or another sticky pomade to keep the twist locked. And as new growth occurs at the roots, it's necessary to get it retwisted every 2-3 weeks.

first you just take one dread and start to twist it clockwise till you can't twist it anymore. after that you just repeat that step on till you're done. its very simple. i have dreads
