If she is coming by land or boat from the United States she doesn't even need a passport until summer of 2007, she can just come with a valid birth certificate and a photo id. If flying in or coming from any other country all she needs is a passport and nothing else.

That depends on the nationality/country of her passport, some countries requires a visa to enter Canada as a visitor.

Depends what she is going to do. You'll need a passport to travel anywhere internationally to have proof of citizenship to country. Do you mean MOVE to Canada?
