So... The world was originally black before it became white?... I can't believe it!!?

Today, there was a discussion about the origination of white people... formally known as Caucasian... I heard that we were all black until Jacob started to experiment with "grafting of the genes"... That's how light skinned people came about... then centuries later came the brown man.... then finally, the white man came.... WOW!!!... now everything makes sense.... When God said "When there is darkness let there be light"... he was talking lightness as in white people... All WHITES were originally BLACK!!!!.... What do you all think of this.... lol

I was wondering also.... I didn't come up with this idea... Someone told me, so that's why i asked for everyone's opinion... Some of what i heard made sense, and some didn't....

whomever made this story up must have been doing some drugs.... lol... we are all related?..... LMAO.... that is the biggest lie i have heard the whole day...

In reality as humans began to migrate out of africa and throughout the world, they would develop lighter skin as their envirnment changed. The process probably took about 8000 years from when humans entered Europe from Eurasia, and the people that did enter Europe were more like Middle Easterners than Afticans. The story your telling is a a laghable myth that was told by members of the Nation of Islam as a means of degrading caucasians. In reality, white people laugh at people who believe that.

Don't listen to 5 percent teachings. Trust me. It exists and can function just like just about anything else. Jacob(pbuh) or yaqub(pbuh) existed about 2000-1800 BC circa. Caucasions have been around longer than that. They say that "so called" white people came from the Caucus Mountains in Asia. That is why they are called Caucasions. 5% percenters don't even worship the TRUE GOD. They worship a man named Wali Farad whom they believe to be allah and the father. I forgot the story, because I really did not care too much about it. The nation of gods and earths have some very intelligent people within that belief, but it is not true. It is a belief that can function if you believe in it just like christianity. But it is not the truth alhumdulillah. That belief system comes from the era of Elija Muhammad. I wouldn't follow religious texts as evidence of anything. But it does seem so that the original human beings that are like us today originated in Africa and spread throughout the world. They adapted skin colors, facial features, immunities, and various other characteristics to their environments that they lived in. So you may be correct that our first ancestors were black or of a darker skinned race than any caucasian individuals that are alive in modern times. And that doesn't bother me one bit.

That 'Yakub' story was a fabrication by the 5 Percent Nation Of Islam. That garbage is poison. Don't listen to that... I fell for it when I was younger.

They get that from the bible, but all the bible says is that Yakub was getting even with his uncle by tricking him into giving him sheep and Yakub bred the sheep to make his uncle believe that all of them belonged to Yakub.

yeaaahhh... uh... go take an evolutionary biology class. everyone's earliest human ancestors lived in africa, and therefore presumably dark-skinned... that doesn't mean that today's living population of lighter-skinned people were once dark-skinned and somehow changed at birth, or something. and religion has nothing to do with it, specious reference to Jacob notwithstanding.
but since we all have african ancestors, can i check 'African-american' on my census?

If you did a little research you would find that all of mankind was black in the beginning, It's time you accept the fact that your ancestors were Black DNA proven.
