Forget about the nonsense of counting calories because the body treat calories from different sources in a VERY different manner.
Example: calories from simple carbohydrates, such as candy, ice cream, white bread, cookies etc...are burnt immediately and the resulting energy is usually much more what is needed at the moment (unless you are running a 50 mile marathon). As a consequence, the body stores the excess energy for future needs, in the form of body fat.

Now, calories from amino acids (such as protein) are mostly used to produce the enzymes you need for all the body reactions, to produce new cells (muscle, blood, skin) since we are constantly loosing old cells, etc...They will not be deposited as fat unless there is a VERY heavy excess (people in general can't eat excess amounts of protein because protein helps the production of glucagon, which is a hormone that reduces the apetite.
In summary, to answer your question, to maintain you current shape, stay away from all the simple carbs American kids love to eat in excess (cookies, donuts, french fries etc....) and eat the complex carbs (whole grains, vegetables) along with sufficient protein (around 80 g per day for your size).

Keep up your good shape.

500 energy is around 5 miles, actually i might think of somebody runs somewhat over a mile and gets achieved, so i do no longer think of you're burning 500 energy on a run. that ought to take around forty minutes, while you're sprinting, or approximately 50 minutes on a slower jog. yet i might propose you consume around 1600 energy and exercising such as you're doing, you choose countless carbs to run, in case you run on an empty stomache, you're beginning as much as lose muscle, no longer fat after working for quarter-hour... actually.
