why do people expect us to know where the universe came from without a super telescope 3 galaxies long + warp drive.

Common with silly questions from the religious to justify their silly notions that we were all created by the giant space octopus, the sun god, Zeuas and Aphrodite or Thor

How the hell are we supposed to know when we dont even have galatic travel with warp drive let alone intergalatic travel , both in a few hours to croass a galaxy?

So how do we accurately get answers on how everything got created or was just there?

Does not mean santa, roudoff, the tooth fairy or god did it

The answer about how the universe came into existence is not something that will ever be solved. The most important thing is that we as human beings realize that there is a universe. Some questions will never be answered that's why man has invented "god" to fill in the blanks. Just be happy with your place in the universe and don't worry about questions that can never be answered.

Er, when the universe banged into existence, all space and matter was in one place.

So the only answer to 'where did the universe come from' is - here.

You don't need a super-gigantic telescope to look for it, either. The echo of the Big Bang is still detectable from all parts of the sky - even though it's been fading for over 12 billion years.

God of the gaps! Gods used to be able to have a hand in so many things - lightning, earthquakes, volcanoes, disease, storms, the list was endless. Now science has made them redundant in all these areas, they must be hanging around with not much to do, and in danger of becoming a nuisance. So, anything we don't yet fully understand, we have to make a god responsible for, just to keep them occupied.

So are you are saying is that religious creation is wrong because it can't be proved AND you can't prove that you're right either?

Why do some atheists compare known fictions like Santa, the tooth fairy, which we can prove to be false, with God whose existence cannot be proved or disproved by science?

Unless someone manages to create a time machine we will never know where we came from!
All we can do is just get on with and make the best of the time that you're here in the now!!!

God created the universe and everything in it. Read Genesis, it is the first book of the bible. It talks about creation and how everything was created by God.

How do i say this?

Science tell mankind that science has all the answers and knowledge and understanding. There is no need for Faith--Faith is dumb--Faith is a trap. Now you say Science can't answer all the question and doesn't know all the Answers. Maybe now you understand why Faith is important--when you don't have all the answers sometimes you believe by Faith

Err, you do NOT use an optical telescope to look back in time in the universe!
You look at the Cosmic background radiation, with a radio telescope!
