I'll be driving in the city, probably very short distances and occassionally on the highway maximum 100 miles.

i own a shop and the prius would be a better deal as far as repairs and stuff goes on it there easy to work on when they need it,so id stay with the prius it will give you good service and not break you up on repair bills either,good luck i hope this helps.

Go for the Mini. The Prius will need new batteries VERY soon--and that's not cheap. The Mini will be harder to find a mechanic for, but I don't know that you'll need to see him as often, or for repairs and maintenance as costly as that of the Prius. Plus, the newer hybrids are much more efficient than the '05s were...

mini they are sweet cars! I wish i could get one. You might get a tax break on the prius but I'm not sure. The battery has been know to die on them and they are expensive to fix. I say try driving both see which one you like. The mini might hold a better value but I'm not sure. Do your research. Look at how many are being sold- ebay and what they are going for.

Get the Mini. It is fun to drive. The Prius will make you look like a greenie weenie.

prius will let u avoid the dealer for repairs. u will make the dealer your matron of honor if u get the mini. get the drift
