I think i might have OCD. I'm like thinking about something and then i can't stop thinking about it and then i repeat it in my head a billion times and when im done i always move onto the next thought and so on and so forth. it makes me depressed and makes me feel like i missed out on the day when the day is over and if i think about alot of stuff in one day it makes it harder to remember things.

Only a professional psychologist, psychiatrist, or clinical social worker can give you advice about this that can be trusted. Be careful about getting a diagnosis online... no offense to anyone answering this question, but it is a dangerous thing to misdiagnose someone.

You have more obsessions than compulsions. I am sure your mind races when you try to sleep. An antidepressant should make you feel better in about two weeks after starting it. I personally like Cymbalta.
Is there anyone in your family with tics? Tourette syndrome and ocd are practically the same disorder, just one with tics, one without. What's going on in your mind is exactly like what's going on in the mind of some with Tourette syndrome. You just don't have the odd habits.
Another medicine that might help is Strattera. It is a nonamphetamine that is prescribed for ADD. Both Cymbalta and Strattera take some getting used to. It takes about a month to get over side effects and be able to relax and sleep all night.

You might have OCD, you might be manic (Bipolar DIsorder) or maybe it's something else.
Tell a medical doctor how you feel, and give honest answers to any questions the doctor might ask you.

OCD has to do moreso with behaviors. Repetitive behaviors that need to be performed to release anxious feelings.
Repetitive thoughts may be associated with manic behavior, especially if it leads to a depressed state. Now, seriously, there is not need to start diagnosing yourself. I think you need to speak with a counselor first, they will be able to tell you if you need to see a doctor or how you can better control your thoughts.
I know what it's like to have uncontrollable thoughts and/or anxiety. If it's tied to a disease process you need medical attention. But don't diagnose yourself...even doctors don't diagnose themselves...
