She need to go to the doctor...that would be best. You have to get a special comb and medication. And you have to disinfection all bedding and pillows, etc that come into contact with her head (or wherever the lice are...I was assuming the head). Here is a link ( you can google "lice treatment" for more links)

Ok I had lice for 4 years!!!!! THis is how I got rid of the annoying im not even going to say how agervating they are!!! Anyways Heres some things to Try!
I know this sounds disgusting but hey gotta do wut ya gotta do! If you put manazie in the hair and tie it with a plastic bag that can sufficate a lot of em.
You can also go to tha store and buy a special lice brush. The brush has really small medal brisals that get a lot of the eggs out of the hair. You have to use it daily.
You can also try to get em out by scubing your hair extra good but not to were you make your scalp red. I think but im not sure the stores might sell a special shampoo to kill lice. This is how I got rid of mine! I your friend gets rid of em quickly! I Know how it is! :) (; :D

Okay, first of all, she needs to get prescription Lice shampoo from her doctor. Then, you need to use it as often as your doctor says. Also buy a lice brush, which has very close 'bristles' that remove some of the lice. If the lice is not gone after a certain period, she needs to cut her hair.

If they have laid eggs yes they will increase. You didn't say where the lice were but if they are on her head she can apply tea tree oil and put on a shower cap for 30 minutes and then shampoo with a tea tree oil based shampoo.
