the way he started falling for you for one.. did he always look at you and just smooth talk flirting, or did he get to know you really well first before he became your bf...? also, if he calls you things like "hot" and stuff instead of being sincere and saying "pretty" and "beautiful" ...if he Only wants to have sex with you or make out or kiss and stuff.. instead of just being happy just Being with you... you can usually tell. just by the way he reacts if you do certain things.. like if he watches a chick flick or does something he hates just for you, but trys to have fun, and instead doesn't make you feel bad for making him suffer and says he deserves a kiss/sex for that. just if he wants to Really get to know Every little detail about your life because he loves you.. or if he just wants to Act like he wants to.. just knowing the basics and stuff you Tell him... if he Takes a genuine interest..

If he genuinely want to be with you, he wont do anything to try and mess it up. This includes trying to get into ur pants too quickly. If you could tell hes acting or not completely being genuine in his actions, then hes after sex. But if he does the little things to get you to know that hes thinking about you all the time, than hes real. He wants to be with you. Some signs of wanting to be with you include calling you in the middle of the night just so he could hear your voice, opening doors for you just to smell your hair as you walk by. When he drives you home, he drives slower and stops at lights just to be with you longer. Ok im done lol hope this helps!

How old is he? How did you meet?
If it was a 1st night hook up and been seeing each other since then, and he is young then it is obvious what he wants.
