My dog is about 85 pounds and is very lazy. she only plays 2 rounds of catch and then goes on to the stairway and lays there. she sleeps almost all day. whats wrong with her?

85 pounds is at the top of the scale. It also depends on her bone structure. Is she big boned or small boned or even med. boned?
7 years old is not that old for a Golden and she should still be able to play for more than you described. I think she may be overweight which happens to spayed Goldens when they get older. I think it's time to put her on a diet and get her weight down.
Sorry I forgot to give you a good weight for a female Goldens. I think it should about 70 pounds.

You may want to have her veterinarian check her out. Female Goldens, per the AKC breed standard, should be between 55 and 65 pounds. Your dog is most likely overweight, unless she has unusually large bones and muscles. I would have her checked out because at seven years old, she is considered a young senior, and should still love to play and run, at least a bit.
She could probably stand to lose at least ten pounds, so get her checked out by the vet soon.
Oh, and if she checks out at fine, you can at least give her an extra walk or two a day if she really hates playing ball.

Hard to say,big frame or little frame? I have a golden, he's about 98 lbs. and the vet said he's good. By the way he's 4 years old.

I don't know.. but i'm guessing your dog is pretty overweight! She probably rips her shirts! haha. Sorry, but i don't have a dog.
(what a lazy dog, i feel like i've known her since i was six)
